Set within its own farmland, this proud farmhouse stands with views of mountains and rivers, making this a very special rural and private house.

This was our second time at the house and it did not disappoint. The surroundings were amazing and we explored the nearest peak to see views for miles. The children loved rafting in bodyboards down the river and exploring the copper mines.
We visited some attractions such as the Cysyllte aqueduct which was spectacular, some of the wonderful castles and Bodnant gardens was beautiful.
Dafydd and Manon are so lovely and we enjoyed a few little chats with Dafydd who provided us with information and maps which helped us explore further.
The house is cosy with everything we needed and we enjoyed several nights in eating around the table together.
We hope to be back next year .

A comfortable, clean house with everything you need for a great holiday. Hosts are very knowledgable and welcoming, a lovely welcome pack was very thoughtful. Location is stunning, the narrow lanes to get there take some negotiating but it’s worth it when you arrive at the house. It would have been perfect for star gazing had the weather permitted. Great for a digital detox and for getting out in the fresh air. Definitely a place to go back to.

Spectacular surroundings with amazing views .

What an amazing place. Dafydd was so friendly and helpful and the house was cosy and had everything we needed. The surrounding area was breathtaking and we all enjoyed the seclusion and peace. The children loved building a damn and the Dog had the freedom to roam free . I can’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely be returning. Plenty to do within the grounds and a great base for exploring North Wales and Anglesey.
Thank you so much .. this was exactly the break we all needed

Clean, comfortable and peaceful home high in the Welsh mountains surrounded by walks, sheep and fields. The natural pool at the end of the drive is perfect for safe bathing and very welcome in Summer. Dafydd is lively - a friendly and informative host who can give you pointers on any of the local walks if you need them. We’ve stayed here 3 times already and will hopefully be back next Summer.

One of the greatest wilderness places i have ever stayed at, to draw back the curtains in the morning to the great scenery outside was stunning even if it was pouring with rain. Ventured out on our mountain bikes on the Lon Eifion cycle path to caernarfon then a ride to the massive Cricceth beach and a cross country ride to Ffestiniog. Great place, great stay, loved every minute. Look forward to a return.
